Well, it would seem for some strange reason the contest I previously posted wasn't visible on mobile devices. Major fail.

So, here's the deal. To enter this contest and win a Baked. sampler pack, simply respond to this post with what item you've just gotta see on our menu. Contest closes this Friday at 2100. A winner will be selected at random and you must be able to receive your package Monday, September 8, 2014. Those who previously entered via the entry form previously posted, kindly repost here. With all of the enquiries I am receiving in regards to custom cakes, I thought it would be a good idea to answer some of your most common questions.

Q: How much of a hole is this going to put in my wallet?

A: Custom cakes are not the cheapest option for your event. You should be prepared to spend at least 35 dkk per serving. Pricing varies from cake to cake depending on your flavors, fillings, and decoration.

Q: Cheaper options, sounds cheap..

A: Not at all! There are plenty of other fabulous options for lovely and impressive cakes and desserts that will fit most every budget and event.

Q: How much notice do I need to give?

A: As much as possible! Preferably as soon as the date for the event is set. Even if you're the procrastinating type, you can always check with me on short notice and I'll do all I can to squeeze you in.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: Yes! Within the Copenhagen City and Greater Copenhagen area. There is a charge, which will be agreed upon when ordering. Beyond this area can be arranged but please contact me before ordering.

However, you can always pick up direct from me as always. I'm based in Herlev.

Q: Ok, what now?

A: Just send a message through this page and let me know what you're thinking of! Having an idea of what you want is great, but if you're totally clueless, don't fear! I have the perfect thing for you!

Finally! With a whole lot of support and encouragement, I am officially setting off in pursuit of my cake-filled dreams. I say officially, because well, this is a path I have been on for some years now, quietly producing cakes and American desserts out of my own little, Copenhagen area kitchen. But now, with my kitchen bursting to the seams on most weekends, I've decided to grow my hobby, into my own business and see where I end up. I hope it's a place where my desserts and sweets make people happy. I hope it's a place where I can show Denmark what REAL American baking is. And I hope it's a place you'll all follow along with me. I promise.. It's gonna be sweet!
