Cheers to 33 years 🎉

Yesterday I celebrated my 33rd revolution around the sun. I was pretty low-key with just the usual day to day happenings.

Took the itty bits to their respective appointments

Had dinner with the family

And even went for a midnight run (trying something new).

I spent my weekend with old and new friends and also made a pretty heavy decision in regards to my career that I'm excited to see come to fruition soon.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me, called, texted or let me cross your mind for a split second. I appreciate you.

Looking forward to this age's life lessons.

My children have been singing this song into the ground but I guess it's cuz I needed to hear it 😂

The hubs came back finally and I'd been soaking it all up but my schedule became an entire mess in the process. Sleepless nights staying up to watch the world cup together, 4am bakes turning into 8am bakes, and slowly losing my footing I built for the last 8 months.

Trying to juggle being a business lady and doting family woman is hard AF., but that silly song rings in my ear 👂🏾 "Du bist gut genug -you are good enough" and I stop feeling so hard on myself. Sounds ridiculous but it's true. So I stayed up with the fam, played games, and then baked this lovely specimen.

I'm good enough to be a good baker and a good family lady and that's good enough for me.

Pastels and gold

This 5in 2-layer vanilla smash cake with a whipped cream cheese frosting. It's definitely one of the prettiest cakes and in my top 10 for sure.

I'm taking a few breaks over the summer with the kiddos so I'll be posting my holiday schedule shortly in case you want to place an order.

Chocol-ATE Cake

Made this doodle inspired Stray Kids cake for one of the mini Stays' birthday here on base.

Having a personal expert on K-pop in the house ( my not so tiny human) she oversaw most of the project to ensure I was doing the band justice. It's even decked out with edible photo cards on the sides.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating this and hope to do more band cakes in the future.

Two tiers for the Three-rex 🦖

This cake was a beast but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. After taking the week to rest and recover from the accident I was able to get a few orders done and this is one.

The top tier is Chocolate with a fudge filling and the bottom tier is a vanilla Chantilly cake with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Both tiers are iced in my hybrid whipped buttercream.

Sitting still has me feeling the itch to bake and create so if you're looking to support ya girl while she's on the mend, consider ordering a custom cake or two? 😆 Idk.

Good morning,
This past Saturday I was in a rollover car accident. The children were not in the car and I did emerge mostly unscathed however I have lost my phone in the process and am very slow to move while I'm healing.

If you have attempted to contact me, I am not ignoring you. I just don't have access to everything and my computer is insanely slow. Sorry for the inconvenience. I am still working best I can but all of my orders were in my phone and I have 0 access to my whatsapp so please bear with me. Hoping to have everything moving today but no promises. I know I also need rest but don't want to let y'all down

When it's just too cute to eat 🥺

I had a request for a strawberry cake for someone who loves ATLA. I had creative freedom so I couldn't pass up the chance to make a cute little Appa cake.

He's even holding the happy birthday with his legs guys! I've not done many cakes meant to look like fur so I need to work on the texture but regardless I love him.

It's a boy, it's a girl, it's a cookie cake?! 🎂

I had the pleasure of making this cake cookie hybrid for one of my cookie crew members and friend for her announcement shower.

I love that the theme wasn't your traditional reveal and neither was the cake. It was a cookie monster cake hybrid and if you know the flavor then you know what was announced ☺️

So thankful, I get to work doing something I love and I love being a part of you guy's biggest moments. I appreciate everyone who entrust me with your vision.

I've been on a little social media detox but still creating lots of treats. Here's a small snippet of what I've been doing.

And while yes, I know socials play a more vital role in small business and are important for reaching a larger audience, I miss the intimacy of personal interaction with my fellow Earthlings...offline.
