We’ve been meaning to give you an update – and many of you have already asked where Kalea products will be available this year. Here’s the latest:

🇺🇸 For our fans in the USA:
Unfortunately, we didn’t ship any packages to the US this year. At the beginning of the year, the uncertainty around potential customs duties was simply too high. As a small company, we just couldn’t take that risk. We hope you understand. 🙏

🌍 For our fans in the UK, Canada, Spain, France, Japan, Australia, and Taiwan:
The good news – you should now find our Oktoberfest Box in most of these countries! 🎉 Inside are 12 unique Festbiers from small private breweries in Bavaria – a truly special collection. Don’t miss checking your local Costco for it.

We now have some positive news for you! In several Costco stores, instead of our Brewers Advent Calendar, you will now find a German Beer Specialty Box featuring 12 beers from 12 private breweries in Germany.

Some stores may have already been stocked this week.
If you find it in your local Costco, feel free to take a picture and post it in the comments below. We’re happy to hear your feedback!

🎄🍻 Exciting News for Beer Lovers! 🍻🎄

Our Brewers Advent Calendar is coming soon, and this year, we’ve packed 12 brand-new beers from 12 different breweries into the latest edition! That means a total of 24 beers from 24 breweries, with some exclusive brews crafted just for this calendar. We can’t wait to hear how you enjoy this year’s selection!

🚨Important Update for Our U.S. BeerTasters 🚨 Unfortunately, the calendar will not be available at Costco USA this year. We’re just as disappointed as you are. Since we didn’t receive an official order from the U.S. by the end of March, we couldn’t reserve the necessary amount of beer from our breweries. However, you can help bring the Brewers Advent Calendar back to the U.S. in 2025! If you’d like to support us, let your local Costco know you want the Kalea Beer Advent Calendar for next year.

We know it’s a beloved tradition for many of you, and while there’s a pause this year, with your help, we hope to bring it back in 2025!

For all our customers in Europe, we hope you're ready to join us again for the ultimate beer tasting experience this Advent season. Stay tuned for more details!

In celebration of Ettl Brewery's 475th anniversary in 2018, brewmaster Martin crafted a German-Style Festbier, aiming for strength and elegance reminiscent of a Märzen. The beer matured for weeks in the brewery's cold cellars, resulting in a harmonious and balanced flavor. Now a permanent addition to the Teisnacher brewery's assortment, the anniversary beer is featured in this Beer Advent Calendar. Here's a toast to the brewery's next 475 years and a Merry Christmas. If you enjoyed our selection of German brewery beers, perhaps we'll meet again in December 2024.

December 23 - Aldersbacher - Urhell

In Aldersbach, Lower Bavaria, a historic Cistercian monastery houses one of the world's oldest breweries, with evidence of brewing dating back to 1268. Since 1812, the brewery and monastery have been run by the Von Aretin family, preserving the brewing tradition. The modern facilities produce mainly Bavarian classics of exceptional quality. Visitors can experience this in the 'Braustüberl' with Bavarian home cooking and freshly tapped beer. The Aldersbach Advent calendar features today's beer, the Alderbacher Urhell, known for its bright yellow color, fresh hop notes, and mild, balanced taste for carefree drinking pleasure.

December 22 - Kraftbierwerkstatt - Black Forest Can

'Kraftbierwerkstatt' (Craft Beer Garage) is situated in Böblingen, a town in southern Germany known for hosting the largest factory of the car manufacturer Daimler Benz.
The founder, Oliver Koblenzer, caught the craft beer bug while vacationing in Hawaii. Upon returning home, he learned brewing and established the brand 'Kraftbierwerkstatt'.
As a gypsy brewer, Oliver doesn't own his own brewery but rents space in small to medium-sized breweries, utilizing their brewing equipment from kettles to bottling.
Their porter, named after the nearby Black Forest National Park, draws inspiration from the famous cuckoo clocks and Black Forest gateau associated with the region.

In the 17th century Ingolstadt, where the Bavarian Purity Law originated, Herrnbräu brewery was founded. Initially part of one of the first joint stock companies in Germany, it has been selling beers under the brand "Herrnbräu" since the 1960s. The brewery's product range includes various lagers, wheat ales, and a special German-Style Festbier called 'Tradition,' brewed annually on April 23 in honor of the German Purity Law. This full-bodied, golden lager combines delicately sweet and subtly hop-bitter flavors, embodying elegance and festivity.
