It's been two weeks now since we closed the doors of our cafe.
We said goodbye to many of you already but we want to take this opportunity and share a couple of thoughts here with you.
Bona has been part of our lives since September 2016. We started this project as a group of four friends. With a lot of passion, a lot of energy, a lot of excitement and very little experience in this field ;) And it was a hell of a ride.
And even though it was stressful at times, it has brought us a lot of joy. We became part of this Kiez and we were happy to welcome your smiling faces every day. Serving you coffee and cakes, breakfasts and dinners and also some heavy beats from time to time. Techno Brunch and our birthday parties will stay in our memory forever.
We wanted this space to become your second home and we know that for many of you it was.
A huge, warm thank you to all of you - our guests and friends! Bona would not be the same place without you. To those of you who were with us from the very beginning to the very end.
But also to the new guests who just discovered our small shop and got the glimpse of what Bona was.
A huge, warm thank you to all of our staff members who also became friends, for giving the best out of you and co-creating the friendly space for others to enjoy. And thank you for your laughs and smiles. For making BONA fun!
A huge, warm thank you to Pitur, Natalia and Matteo - my partners in crime ;) and people without whom the Bona project would not come to life. That was a school of life and I am happy I got to share it with you.
After 8 years I say goodbye with a smile. With no regrets. Grateful for all the moments.
I will see you soon somewhere in Kiez!
