It's very satisfying when you spend hours and hours forming even one loaf and your dough turns out very good and bouncy. Of course it deserves a good slap! 😁

Scoring the leaves deeply allows the air to release evenly, preventing uneven bursting during baking. I know scoring isn't just for looks—it guides the loaf's expansion—but you can certainly use it to create beautiful patterns. So here is another one for you to try!
