Both of them were very talented women and their love for baking left a mark within the Cypriot market for a very long time after closing down their business. Late in 2015 I was trying to persuade my mom (and succeeded at the end) to show me the know-how of making Maamoul. I, on the other hand, been passionate for baking, started doing some blending of recipes from various chefs around the world an
d manage to create within months unique, delicious flavors, adding my own touch and fantasy. During this time, my life path led me to Teresa, my American beloved friend, with whom we shared our passion and open our small bakery, Aurora, sometime in 2016. Baking with love, giving our attention to every single detail in order to deliver freshly, modernized pastries, full of flavors, with the finest ingredients just like baking at home. Unfortunately on November 26th 2019 my dear Teresa passed away suddenly and left me continue this dream alone. Teresa will always be with me guiding me and giving me strength with her passion for baking so to keep our bakery alive for as long as i can. One last thing….Aurora is the name of my Grandmother who I adored and admired all the years of my life. She was the one teaching me, since my early childhood, of how to bake and make some of her very well-known to our family and friends sweets. Naming the bakery under her name is a way to honor her love and affection to me and to all her grandchildren all these years. Special Thanks to my mother who I love and adore and will be grateful for the rest of my life..... because of her I am who I am today and I am so proud of. God bless you all and looking forward to meet you and share with you my passion for baking.
