Some cakes are beautiful.
Some are delicious.
And some become memories the moment you create them. 🙏🏻

I honestly think this may be the sweetest birthday setup I’ve ever made.
A wild little safari celebration filled with love, laughter, and chocolate everywhere — a monkey cake overloaded with chocolate inside and out, zebra and leopard cupcakes, and the cutest little zebra and leopard cake pops.

But what made this order truly special for me is that it was created for a sweet little boy celebrating his 4th birthday today… while I’m celebrating my 40th right alongside him 😅

And somehow, standing in my kitchen surrounded by tiny safari animals, melted chocolate, and birthday excitement, it reminded me that joy doesn’t really belong to an age.

At 4, life feels magical because everything is big, exciting, and full of wonder.
At 40, maybe the real gift is remembering how important it is to keep that wonder alive.
Happy Birthday to the sweetest little explorer.
May your life always be full of adventure, laughter, chocolate, and people who love you deeply. 💚

Important Update from Gluten Free Vegan Bakery Tamarindo 💚

We’ll be working this week until Tuesday only, and then taking a short break to recharge and spend some family time.

We’ll be back to full activity on May 25th.

It’s been a week full of celebrations, and we’re so grateful to have been part of so many special moments. 🙏🏻

Here are just some of the cakes and desserts we created this week: two vanilla cakes topped with buttercream and fresh strawberries, a soft and rich carrot cake filled with walnuts and finished with buttercream, a beach-themed celebration cake, and today’s fresh fruit tart.

One of our favorite details this week was the natural blue whipped cream on the beach cake, colored only with butterfly pea flower. We never use artificial food coloring — every detail is made with care and as naturally as possible. 🙌🏻

✨ One of those beautifully busy bakery days ✨
From the first tray out of the oven to the very last box packed — today was full of flour-covered hands, warm ovens, and non-stop baking.
Fresh breads, soft rolls, rich cupcakes, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls… all made from scratch, all baked with care and love 🤍
It was a long, busy day — the kind that reminds us how blessed we are to do this work.
To create, to bake, to provide, and to serve such wonderful, loyal customers.
Thank you to every single one of you who supports our bakery, orders again and again, and trusts us with your everyday moments and special occasions.
This work is demanding — but it is truly a labor of love.
