Even with all the updates, the design stays true to what people love most about Tiong Bahru Bakery, its warmth, its honesty, and its everyday magic. The new interior simply adds a layer of freshness and flexibility, combining modern touches like digital menus and adaptive displays with the bakery’s timeless comfort and soul.
“We wanted the space to feel alive with the same rhythm as the neighborhood,” says Hannah Churchill, founder of hcreates. “It’s about designing a place that feels open, familiar, and full of life—just like the brand itself.”

A Taste of Community
From its first store in Singapore’s heritage district to its new outposts across Singapore, Tiong Bahru Bakery continues to bring people together through great food and great design. This new concept captures that journey, a space where every bite and every conversation adds to the story of the neighborhood.
