Meet Ms. Playne Fuondjing

We're delighted to introduce you to Ms. Playne Fuondjing, a remarkable woman who's made a real difference in education, philanthropy, and community service. She's one of our panel discussion leaders at the upcoming Ladies in the Boardroom Masterclass, and we're excited to share her story with you.

A Pioneer in Education

Ms. Fuondjing's journey began as a distinguished educator, entrepreneur, and philanthropist in Cameroon. With a passion for helping others, she trained as a nurse and midwife in the UK before returning to Cameroon to expand her career into education and healthcare.

Founding Queensway Bilingual School

In 1994, Ms. Fuondjing founded Queensway Bilingual School, which has grown into a thriving network of schools with thousands of students and over 200 staff members. Her leadership has made Queensway a beacon of educational excellence, offering quality education and scholarships to students from all walks of life.

Community Leader and Philanthropist

Ms. Fuondjing's impact goes far beyond the classroom. She's a committed community leader and philanthropist, serving as the National President of EXSSA and the Malaah of Santa village. Her hard work has provided resources for the elderly, organised charity events for vulnerable children, and offered scholarships, food, and clothing to those in need.

Awards and Recognition

Ms. Fuondjing's exceptional contributions to education and leadership have earned her numerous awards, including recognition from Alamo Colleges District in San Antonio, Texas, USA.

Empowering Women and Youth

As a passionate Christian, spiritual counsellor, and mentor, Ms. Fuondjing dedicates her time to empowering women and youth in leadership, career development, and entrepreneurship. Her motto is "To use my talents and charisma to inspire others to achieve their goals in love and joy."

Let’s talk about sugar syrup and it’s uses!

Sugar syrup is a sweetener used for deserts and cocktails!
It keeps your desserts moist at all times!

Now, a lot of us don’t use sugar syrup which makes us serve dry and crumbly cakes!

According to myth, sugar syrup makes your cake overly sweet! This is not true! Unless you got your measurements wrong! Sugar syrup is not over sweet and doesn’t spoil unless u didn’t boil well!

The essence of boiling is to remove the water leaving you with a mild syrup

How to make:
Equal part of sugar and water; add tiny drop of vanilla extract and bring to a boil! After it reach a boiling point, remove from fire, allow to cook off completely, pour into your dispenser and store in the fridge!

1 cup of water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

To make chocolate syrup, just add a drop of coffee while boiling

To
Make lemon syrup, boil with lemon zest and sieve out while pouring in ur can.

To make red velvet syrup, add a splash of red food colouring!
