I love cakes decorated with flowers, that’s no secret. 🤍 This time I could make for one of my clients a birthday cake with painted buttercream flowers. It’s about the details you shouldn’t underestimate. And although it looks it’s pretty easy, it took longer than I expected. ☺️ I enjoyed the process though, watching how with every layer these painted flowers come more to life. 🙌

I hope you had a good start in the new week. Ours was a bit slower after an intense weekend we spent in Grindelwald. Autumn 🍂 hikes can be incredibly beautiful when the weather is good. 🤍

What are your plans for the weekend? We are heading to Seegräben to the pumpkin 🎃 exhibition. Over the year it seems it has become a tradition for us already to visit one of the pumpkin farms in the autumn. And I am always looking forward to it. 🤍

I am leaving you here a painted doggie 🐶 with handmade sugar flowers I made back in June this year for Olivia to her 1st bday. Thank you for the order! 🤍🤍

if cakes would have names I would call this one a „Summer sunset cake“. The cake is decorated with a stunning palette of vivid colors - orange, pink and yellow. And to me it evokes the breathtaking hues of a summer sunset. 🙌

It’s not just a dessert - it’s an experience, a moment frozen in time that brings the magic of summer sunset to your table.

I think this quote precisely explains how I see cakes and why I love to make them so much. So I can bring the magic moment to your table, whether it’s a princess Elsa, a beautiful mermaid or a cute teddy. 🍰

I always like to alternate the decoration a bit. For example by putting the fondant figure on the front side of the cake instead of top. This one was super cute indeed. 🦕 As always everything is handmade by me and edible. 👌
