🇨🇭 Living in Switzerland but still panicking when someone speaks German to you? 😅

Learning German is one thing… actually speaking it without freezing is another. 😅

Here are some resources that can make it easier — and more fun 👇

🗣️ 1. DER KURS – Sprachklub

If you understand German but struggle to speak, this is the one I’d put at the top of the list.

Paulina | Niemiecki online • Zacznij mówić po niemiecku Sprachklub focuses on conversation and regular speaking practice — because knowing the grammar doesn’t always mean you can use it in real life. 🙈

📚 2. Books — but make it a story!

Try Lernkrimis — detective stories written specifically for German learners.

🔎 Die DaF-Bibliothek by Cornelsen — A1/A2 to A2/B1, with vocabulary support and audio.

Try:
• Sport ist Mord – football crime in Hamburg ⚽
• Haifische in der Spree – crime in Berlin 🕵️
• Die Skorpion-Frau – love & crime in Heidelberg
• Kaltes Blut – crime in Garmisch

Also check out Circon Lernkrimi, including Das Verbrechen ruht nie (A2–B2).

🎧 3. Podcasts

• Easy German Podcast – natural conversations
• Slow German with Annik Rubens – slower & easier to follow
• Coffee Break German – structured learning

📺 4. Netflix Netflix DE

🇩🇪 The Empress – beautiful historical drama and great for practising German with subtitles.

❤️ Love Is Blind: Germany – real, everyday conversational German… plus plenty of drama. 😂

📱 5. Instagram

👉 Easy German 🇩🇪〡Learn Deutsch from the streets of Berlin & beyond – real conversations + subtitles, so you can hear how German is actually spoken.

And remember: don’t wait for perfect German to start speaking. Mistakes are part of learning. 😉

💬 What’s your biggest German struggle?

1️⃣ I understand but can’t speak
2️⃣ I’m afraid of mistakes
3️⃣ Swiss German 😵‍💫
4️⃣ No time to study
5️⃣ German grammar 😂

What does a day at Rafa Nadal Academy look like? 🎾

For us, it was much more than tennis — group warm-up, 2 hours on court, stretching, an off-court session, a private lesson and plenty of time watching the kids play. ❤️

We also visited the newly renovated Rafa Nadal Museum — definitely a must if you’re at the Academy! 🏆

And now, a little piece of the Academy to take home… 🎁

I’m giving away an original aluminium Rafa Nadal Academy bottle! 🎾
