Thanks to my daughter, who was the one who wanted to make macarons, I can finally tick these off my baking bucket list. These are raspberry ones with a raspberry filling😋 the half that didn’t make it into the photo got left in the oven too long🙈 They we’re still edible and will also be eaten. Conclusion, they are very much worth the effort and we’ll be making more in the future! .ch

Today we could finally celebrate my daughter’s 12th birthday. Can’t believe this is my first Harry Potter cake but probably not my last. This is a chocolate sponge filled and covered with raspberry Swiss meringue buttercream. I love the pink and gold combination! .ch

The results of our family Christmas baking so far. We have a pretty clear division of tasks. I make the doughs and the kids are responsible for the tasting and decorating. Happy 2nd Sunday of Advent!

I love rainbows 🌈 and I really enjoyed making this rainbow cake! Even the sponges were rainbow colored. The cake was supposed to display 4 my little pony toys but due to a very unfortunate misunderstanding there were none🙈 Luckily there was time to model at least one pony and the birthday girl was happy! .ch

Aren’t you lucky when there are so many people that want to celebrate you that you get 2 parties?! For Lumi’s 2nd birthday I made these carrot cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting with these cute animal cupcake toppers. In the end I made two batches of these cupcakes because I forgot the butter the first time!🙈 My family enjoyed them though. A great way of getting the kids to eat vegetables!😉 .ch

A super cute unicorn 🦄 cake for Amilia’s 4th birthday today. This was a chocolate sponge with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream. I’m really pleased how the bottom rainbow buttercream tier turned out. .ch
