ONE YEAR AFTER CLOSING OUR BAKERY:
31 Juli is the opening of Cafe Nona at the Rhine in Basel.
Nona is a project of Pro Senectute beider Basel, with the goal to be a meetingpoint for all generations but especially offering space for Elderly people, partly to help with loneliness. Next to different activities we offer shifts for the Elderly where they can volunteer to help in the cafe.
As the manager of Nona i am looking forward to make the cafe a place where everybody feels welcome and taken care off.
I am very happy with my new job, i can really put my heart into it while doing what i love!

Kees is going to bake part time for the cafe and will continue working partime for Home instead, home care.
And for those who miss Cool Beans, some of the Products will return on Nona's menu.

Prosenectutes magazine Akzent started a new column with recipies this month, the column is connected to Cafe Nona and i will be taking care of the recipies, which can be mine, one of our volunteers or one from our menu.

Leider müssen wir Ihnen mitteilen, dass wir unseren Betrieb per 30. Juni 2023 einstellen werden.

Leider hat uns die Corona Krise und anschliessend die Energiekrise mit immer höheren Beschaffungskosten den Boden unter den Füssen weggezogen.

Wir danken Ihnen liebe Kunden und Kundinnen für das Vertrauen in unsere Produkte und in unsere Bäckerei. Es war uns eine grosse Ehre und eine grosse Freude, täglich für Sie da zu sein.

Nicht nur in den Alpen zu finden: feine Gipfeli, klassisch oder vegan, jeden Morgen frisch gebacken von Cool Beans Markthalle Bäckerei - am Feierabendmarkt am Donnerstag gibts zwar nur bis 18h Gipfeli, danach aber noch feines Brot und viele weitere Frischwaren bis 20h 🥖
