After a challenging year marked by significant health concerns for both my husband and myself, I am pleased to announce that my recovery from major surgery is progressing well and my husband has successfully overcome cancer. As I resume my baking activities, I wish to note that my current limitations due to a lengthy recovery period and ongoing strength-building process will restrict me from accepting large orders at this time. I haven't been on here much with everything that has been keeping me busy and preoccupied. My husband beat his cancer fight. I had a lot of medical situations arise over the past 5 or 6 months. My infectious pneumonia and pancreatic cancer have kept me very busy. Unfortunately I have been out of commission for baking. My surgery was a very major surgery lasting 6 hours. This recovery has not been what I expected. Its been long very long with a lot of setbacks. My energy has not come back yet and it's been almost 2 months. I will no longer be taking orders at this time, and I have no idea what the future holds. Thank you so much to those who have ordered from me. Merry Christmas to you all ❤️

I will be at the farmer's market tomorrow morning with hanging towels and baked goods. Started back to baking a week ago. Apple pie, blueberry pie, pumpkin pie, zucchini bread, sugar cookies, Snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies. I will be at the Farmer's market is from 8 am- 1pm on 8th street across from the old court house.

My dear friends and followers. Sue to health problems we have had many bumps in the road with our health the past couple of years, especially this past year. As many of you know, my husband has also been diagnosed with stage III adenocarcinoma of the colorectal region. His, Jay Reichert's Fight Page, fight has been long and gruesome. However, he is doing well and his fight has been greatly improved! Jay has been a great champ and faced all of his struggles head on, maintaining positivity and peace. We are all proud of him!
I'm happy to announce that I am going back to baking in moderation now that my strength is improving and my husband is towards the end of his radiation and chemotherapy. I will be posting again regularly for updates, sales, and photos. Thank you all so much for your blessings and support! Also thank you all for your patience 🙏.
***The proceeds will also help with ongoing cancer benefit.

Update: It's been an incredibly tough week for the Reicherts. While Jay underwent chemotherapy on Wednesday, Sandra received the difficult news that her pneumonia has returned. She'll be admitted to the hospital today for IV treatment. Despite facing her own health battle, Sandra remains a pillar of strength, supporting Jay.

Please keep them both in your prayers for healing and continued resilience. They are a strong couple, and we are hoping for their speedy recoveries.
