God Wink Today ✨

This morning in my early morning devotion I prayed a very specific prayer - that God would send people from all over to find my little gluten-free business.

A few hours later, my phone rang.

It was a couple who had bought my gluten-free treats at A Taste Of Heaven (Store).
They were calling to ask if I have a storefront... but that one call turned into the sweetest conversation full of ideas, encouragement, and connection.

Exactly what I had just prayed for.

Not a coincidence. Definitely a God wink. 🤍

HOW GLUTEN-FREE BAKING IS DONE 🤍

If you’re part of the gluten-free community, I want you to know that I take your food seriously.

At Pure & Simple Bakery & Pantry my gluten-free baking is intentionally kept separate from my regular baking here is what is done to keep you safe.

✨ Separate baking days~I choose a dedicated days for my gluten-free orders. My regular baking is done on a different days, so I’m not switching back and forth between gluten-containing and gluten-free products.

✨ Dedicated gluten-free equipment ~
The tools, pans, utensils and other baking equipment I use for gluten-free baking are dedicated to gluten-free production and are not used for my regular baking.

✨ Separate ingredients & storage ~ Gluten-free ingredients are kept separate from ingredients that contain gluten, helping to minimize the risk of accidental cross-contact.

✨ A process built around care ~
From preparation to baking and packaging, I intentionally keep my gluten-free and regular baking processes separate.

I know that choosing gluten-free food can come with a lot of questions and concerns. While I am a small home-based bakery certified through public health I want you to feel confident knowing that gluten-free baking is something I approach with care, intention and respect.

SADLY I HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE 👋 😢

Please read below CAREFULLY 👇🏼

To cakes, that is.

Over the years I’ve had the honor of creating so many beautiful cakes for every occasion — birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, baby showers, and more. Cakes built Pure and Simple Bakery from day one. This is where I grew as an entrepreneur, met incredible people, learned the power of social media, and discovered how important GROWTH and LEARNING really are.

2026 has brought new and exciting opportunities, and growth is happening faster than I ever imagined. I’ve got new partnerships coming, and to make room for what’s next, I had to look hard at what I needed to let go. Sadly, that means the cake side of the business.

Closing this chapter is bittersweet, but I know it’s making space for something bigger. To every client who let me be part of your special day — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

2026 was and is about leveling up. New products, new partners, new ways to serve you. I can’t wait to show you what’s coming. ✨

Closed today due to sickness.🤧😫

Will resume bakery pickups and deliver services tomorrow the Lord willing.

I will not be answering texts or emails till tomorrow.

Even small business owners get sick and for the most part I usually can plug through but not this time. I'm so sorry.

✨️ BIG REVEAL ✨️

I finally get to share who I had the pleasure of meeting with... Chef Roza

What started as a simple coffee and conversation quickly turned into something much more.

We spent time dreaming, sharing ideas, talking business, food, community, and all the possibilities that can happen when two passionate women come together.

I'm incredibly grateful for the friendship that was formed today and excited about a new partnership that's beginning to take shape.

There are some exciting things on the horizon, and I truly believe this is just the beginning of something special.

Stay tuned... beautiful things are coming. ✨

A little behind the scenes from today in the microbakery 🤍✨

Today was filled with funfetti cake for our “Better Than Starbucks” cake pops, warm ovens, baking prep, and one incredibly soft and tender Dutch almond cake that honestly turned out so good 🥹

These are the quiet parts of running a microbakery that I love most… the early prep, the simple ingredients, the messy counters, and turning flour, butter, sugar, and creativity into something people get excited to pick up each week 🤍

Some days are chaotic.
Some days are exhausting.
But days like this remind me why I started ✨
