Lets talk about this cake 🍰

This was my first time making a 2 tiered cake and YES I as scared. I was mostly scared because I needed to transport the cake from my place to Birds Hill Park.

Guys, I literally made mahi sit in the backseat so that I could keep and eye on it the entire drive 😳 I am truly blessed to have a friend like Mahi!

I was originally planning to do a 1 tier cake for the shoot because it was easier but that wasn't the vision I saw in my head. I'm super glad I pushed myself to bang this out!

I took the recipe and design inspo from . I have her cookbook and this cake has been on my list to make for quite some time. It's a classic vanilla cake with homemade strawberry and mascarpone buttercream.
