I think 5 years is a good amount of time to let you guys get to know me a little better 🩷

Despite endless challenges, I wouldn’t be everything I am without this journey.

I wanted to prove that I could still be everything I wanted to be while being a mom. The late nights and lack of sleep wasn’t hard. It was feeling like I was sacrificing moments I’d never get back.

Unlike a lot of entrepreneurs, I never had issues working a corporate jobs. I loved climbing the ladder🪜

This was such a fun period of my life. I miss it sometimes (although my back and neck are so much better since this chapter closed)

(… as most moms do)

I’m convinced work life balance doesn’t exist😂🙈

She wanted to have her cake and eat it too apparently

Who knew focusing on eating breakfast daily could change my life (lol every expert who says it’s the most important meal of the day)

Impostor syndrome went hard. If this is you- this is your sign to finally do the thing you’ve been holding off on!

It’s still wild to me

The post delivery/pick up text messages are my favourite

This new chapter has been so fun

Happy 5 years to us🩷

Last year, I thought making progress meant constantly trying to eat less.

Less food. Fewer carbs. More restriction. Always trying to make the number on the scale smaller.

But eventually my goals changed.

I didn’t just want to weigh less — I wanted to be stronger. I wanted to run faster and farther. I wanted to build muscle, recover properly, and actually have the energy to train hard.

And you can’t expect your body to perform at its best when you’re constantly under-fuelling it.

So I started looking at food differently.

Protein became something that helped me build and maintain muscle.

Carbs became fuel for my runs and workouts.

Food became part of my training instead of something I had to “earn” or restrict.

There’s only about a 15 lb difference between these videos, but for the first time ever - I lost the weight without intentionally trying to. My body changed because I just wanted to become more athletic.

Instead of just trying to lose weight at any cost, I focused on building strength and muscle while simultaneously trying to become a runner (yes it’s possible). I went from not being able to run 2 minutes without a walk break, to now having run 17km straight😳

Sometimes reaching your fitness goals isn’t about figuring out how little you can eat.

It’s about learning how to eat enough of the right things to support what you’re asking your body to do.

Your nutrition should support your goals — not fight against them. 💪🏽🏃🏽‍♀️

We built our breakfast mixes around mornings like this⏰

Adjusting back into your routine with the kids can be tough. And after a summer of practicing self care and getting into a groove with your fitness, this added stress can make it feel impossible to stay on track.

Not every morning can be a breakfast from scratch kind of morning, some days you snoozed your alarm TWICE and have 10 minutes to get showered, dressed, and out the door. That’s where we come in. You can take 30 seconds to make your breakfast or just take a pack on the go and make it at work. All you need is a mug/bowl and some water and you’re set. With 17+ grams of protein, slow digesting carbs, 5g fibre, and less than 2g sugar - you’ll have a breakfast that both feels like a treat and energizes your morning.
