In December of 1999, Stella’s Café & Bakery opened its doors to Winnipeg and the concept was simple; high quality ingredients, a healthy and inspired menu with everything made from scratch and friendly service.

Te-brikkes are to Denmark like croissants are to France; very traditional morning pastries. Our te-birkes are buttery, flaky pastries sprinkled with the traditional poppy seed topping and filled with delicious additions.

When people ask why our hash browns taste so good, this is why. Every day, our commissary team washes, peels, chops and cooks Peak of the Market potatoes before they're delivered fresh to our cafés.

Grown in Manitoba.
Made fresh, every day, ALWAYS.

It's one of the behind-the-scenes details most people never see, but it's something we're incredibly proud of. Because great brunch starts with great ingredients, and a great community starts with buying local.
