Delicious bread available again with all these healthy ingredients: freshly milled organic wheat (unsifted); water; honey; egg; olive oil; whole millet; Himalayan pink salt; and love. ❤️

Sliced loaves go into the freezer at the peak of freshness, or if you specifically want unsliced loaves, that can be arranged by order.

On orders of 1-4 they are $8.50 per 24-oz loaf, and the bulk price is for five loaves or more at $7.75 each.

Will be in Williams Lake, BC on Monday afternoon if anybody up that way is needing some. And can also pick up from my place at 108 Mile Ranch, BC.

Thank you to all who came to buy my baking today at the Lone Butte Rocks festival in beautiful Lone Butte, BC. The event was scheduled to go until 4:00 p.m. but shortly before 2:00 p.m. I packed up and went home because I only had four cookies left, a few small cinnamon roll packs, and some loaves of bread that were earmarked for one of my regular customers. Due to my nervous system being what it is, I'm not a fan of sitting at markets so I was all too happy to get home!

Here is another treasure I found at Funky's Junk inside The Cariboo Cafe & Lounge in Williams Lake last week: "No matter where I serve my guests, it seems they like my kitchen best!" It's true of my place, and maybe yours, too? I cut some lavender from my plants to put in it... smells beautiful alongside the freshly milled flour bread.

I'm taking orders for bread, sliced or unsliced, your choice: $8.50/loaf, or on orders of five or more they are $7.75 each.

While grabbing a beautiful blue matcha latte at The Cariboo Cafe and Lounge in Williams Lake, BC, I spotted this tin sign on a chunk of heavy old barn wood for sale in their Funky's Junk business. If you can see what it says you may understand why it was not possible for me to not buy it. Gonna hang that in the bakery.

I don't normally do markets anymore but because I enjoyed being part of the 2023 Lone Butte Rocks a few years ago, when I saw this poster looking for vendors again I did sign up.

I will be having an indoor table this time. There will be my usual 100% fresh-milled flour sandwich bread, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and maple bars.

If you want to place an advance order, I can bring your items with a 50% deposit via e-transfer, or if you can get cash to me in person or through a mutual contact that works too. As another option, arrangements can be made to drop cash off at Q Brew Espresso Bar in Lac La Hache, and I do also take Square payment.

I'm looking for a proper promotional poster about the Lone Butte Rocks event, but all I've got right now is the call for vendors that I saved to my phone. If anybody has a poster for the event details, please do share it!

I'm baking bread again! A fresh batch will be ready after 2pm today.

Specials for today only:

Fresh from the oven after 2pm: $8 each or all six for $40.

Frozen loaves that got a bit squished in the freezer: $5 each.

Eggs from free-range hens: $5/doz, or $7.25 for the 18-pack.

Can reserve with e-transfer, but otherwise it's first come first served.

Also, a friend is holding a garage sale at my place today because her home is up a mountainside and half an hour out of town. Come on over today and help her out by buying lots of stuff! I'll put more details in here as I find out more about what's available.

PS: How many times did the word "today" show up in this post? 😁
