Hey Wainwright! It's Credit Union Day today!

We’re so happy to have baked up a little something sweet for our local Credit Union as they celebrate.

Today is all about honouring the history and achievements of credit unions and recognizing the important role they play in giving back to the communities they serve.

Our local Credit Union is celebrating by treating their members to a sweet little thank-you! If you’re stopping in today, be sure to grab a cupcake, say hello, and take a moment to visit with their wonderful staff.

We’re proud to be a small part of a celebration that recognizes community, connection, and supporting local.

Happy Credit Union Day, and thank you for supporting local businesses like ours!

SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN CAKE GIVEAWAY!

Want to be the hit of your Halloween party? You could win this spooky Halloween celebration cake!

The cake on the top (the one with the “13”) is a cake I made 2 years ago. The cake on the bottom (the one with the “31”) is an AI rendering of the cake YOU could win!

The winning cake will be a chocolate cake filled with delicious chocolate buttercream.

HOW TO ENTER: All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favourite Halloween party snack, song, or game! Have more than one favourite? I want to hear them all! EVERY DIFFERENT COMMENT = ONE ENTRY! Each comment must include a different answer to count as an additional entry. No repeating answers.
The more different comments you leave, the more chances you have to win.

Tell your friends, spread the word, and let's get into the Halloween spirit!

CONTEST DEADLINE: Midnight on Friday, October 23, 2026

THE DRAW: Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 12 noon Mountain Time

IMPORTANT PICKUP INFORMATION: By entering this contest, you agree that you can pick up the cake at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026. Please make sure this pickup time works for you before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: The winning cake photo is an AI-generated rendering, so the actual cake will be similar in design, but not identical to the picture.

Now let's hear those spooky snack ideas, Halloween anthems, and party game favourites!

Hi everyone!

My page is giving me so much trouble! Showing reels sideways (see my screenshot), deleting photos and not allowing me to see my messenger messages.

I want to apologize if it looks bizarre to you and if i don't respond to messages right away I am working on it.

I'm wishing you all a very Happy and Sweet Thanksgiving weekend!

Seanne and Christopher, thank you for the honour of allowing me to make your wedding cake.

I cannot wait to watch the most beautiful girl, both inside and out, walk down the aisle today to her prince at the alter.

Happy birthday Mindy!

IT’S OFFICIAL… WE HAVE A NEW SIGN!

Buttercream Dreams Home Bakery is officially on the map!

After dreaming, baking, planning, and growing this little home bakery, seeing the Buttercream Dreams sign finally go up feels pretty darn special.

It may just be a sign, but to me, it represents so much more — the hard work, the late nights, the early mornings, the countless cakes, and all of YOU who have supported my little baking adventure along the way.

So if you’re driving by and see the sign, you’ll know you’re in the right place! 😉

Thank you for continuing to support my small business and my big baking dreams.

Here’s to many more cakes, cupcakes, and sweet memories!
