Born in Florence and beloved throughout Tuscany, schiacciata is the bread behind some of Italy’s most iconic sandwiches.

As a Florentine café, we’ve always believed great sandwiches start with great bread. That’s why we’ve refined our recipe, creating a schiacciata that’s lighter, airier, and better than ever.

From our Pollo to Roast Beef, both made in-house, every sandwich is built with ingredients prepared fresh in our kitchen, from the fillings to the spreads. It’s a small taste of Florence in every bite.

Tradition is at the heart of what we do, and these strong women helped shape who we are, passing down not just recipes, but a way of showing love through food. It’s a tradition we’re proud to carry on and share with you.

The women in these photos, including Delia (the mother of our owner Stefano Mosi) who bravely immigrated from Italy to the shores of Canada in 1978, are examples of women in our family who selflessly put others before themselves.
