September Long - Open Sat to Sunday 10 am to 4 pm
Fall Hours Starting soon (Sept 12) - Weekends Only Sat & Sun 10 am to 4 pm. Opening May Long for Season 4 of the Village Green Bakery (VGB)
Spring Hours: Weekends Only - Sat & Sun - 10 am to 4 pm
Summer Hours (starting end of June): Open Everyday 10 am to 4 pm

Hey Friends!

How’s everyone doing?? The ‘Summer’ season is coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean we are fully closing up! With the activities all wrapped up and kids back to camps (and school) we are changing up our days/hours to align with the crowds.

First off - WE WILL BE OPEN ALL THIS WEEK!

We know it will be quieter than normal but we don’t want you to go without your cookies and bread if you did stay down this week. So ultimately - no change - phew!

FIRST change is coming the week of August 31 to Sept 4 (Mon to Fri) - we will be closed.

Looking at our history in sales, available VGB’ers, days before back to school and ultimately the baking/sales math we will be closed. Sorry to disappoint those that will be down…..just txt me if you are super in need of something and we can try and hook you up!

updated - SEPTEMBER LONG - we will be OPEN Sat, Sun & Monday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Post September Long - GATES ARE OPEN - and we are open every weekend Sat & Sun from 10 am to 4 pm.

THANKSGIVING WEEKEND - Much like September long - we will be open Sat & Sun from 10 am to 4 pm. On Monday we will be open - but no fresh baking will be happening. We will sell off any left overs…and the coffee will be on. While we sell my team ( and me ) will be cleaning and officially closing down Season 5 of the Village Green Bakery.

Thanks for all your support and the epic amount of love we get from all of you - we truly appreciate it all!

P.s. - Online pre-orders - Honestly I can’t get it to work and my POS provider hasn’t fixed it or supported a fix as of yet….so until then you can text me your pre-orders and we will do our best to have your order ready for pick up. Once this is working I will post an update

Summer Hours are here!!

Welcome to the Summer of Season FIVE at the Village Green Bakery!

Starting this Thursday the Bakery will be open SEVEN days a week!

We have had an absolute blast these past six weekends but we are tired of just being around only on weekends!! We can’t wait to see you all consistently!

We are also going to start popping up at the Country Market - starting this Saturday - June 27th. Stop by and say hello to me and my side kick rockstar Sherri!

AND for those that can’t make the market and don’t want to cross the gates - we still have you covered! DM me through instagram and we can meet at the gate for a goodie exchange.

Are you just as excited as we are to get back to the beach?

Have you told your friends you are going to the cottage for May Long?

Spring is in the air !! Snow is finally melting and we just want to get back to the beach and seeing all of you!

Majority of the VGB team is back for season 5. This year we will be celebrating five years of VILLAGE GREEN BAKERY - Time flies when you are having as much fun as us! Maybe a birthday party is in order? We will see 👀.

Face Cookie merch will be back and bigger. Kids market will be back! Classics will always be of course back! New goodies might show up?

It’s official we are in Fall Hours 🍁

Open only weekends - Sat & Sun - 10 am to 4 pm.
The gates are now open to Victoria Beach - drive in and say hello 👋. Come check our beaches and of course try our fresh cinnamon buns, bread and cookies !

Looking forward to what the Fall 🍂 has to offer - new friends, returning friends and new stories to be told.

The Village Green Bakery is not just a bakery.

It always makes me smile when I look back at what I post on our stories each day—because honestly, most of it isn’t actually about the Village Green Bakery Products. Sure, you might catch a glimpse of a pretty cake or a rack of Bread…and yes some cookies, but I rarely focus what we’re actually making (and let’s be real—I probably should do more of this).

What I do share is the VGB team. 
I highlight them learning new things, taking on challenges, and growing in their role(s) every single day. 
I share moments of families playing in the yard behind the bakery, exploring the fairy garden, filling out worksheets, and laughing together. 
I promote local events that bring people together and celebrate community.

If you scroll through our feed, you’ll see very few photos of bread or cookies—and don’t get me wrong, I’m incredibly proud of the products we make. But what really matters here isn’t just what we bake, it’s how we do it and the team behind it.

It’s the effort, the learning, the decorating attempts, the teamwork…it is the people. 
That’s what makes our bakery special and very unique!

Every day, I tell our team how proud I am of them—and I truly am. I’m constantly impressed by their dedication, their growth, and the heart they bring to their work.

Our bakery season is short—only about 92 days. For 60 of those, we go hard every single day. And while it’s not always easy, it’s a whole lot of fun. We face our fair share of challenges, but what makes us different is how we handle them: we learn, adapt, talk about them (a lot), laugh, roll our eyes—and then we move forward.

And honestly? That’s what makes us stronger.

As I write this, it feels a little cliché—“teamwork, learning, community”—but clichés exist for a reason. That’s exactly what we’re about. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
