I have a very special family whom I have been making cakes for, for years. I consider them to be part of my "cake family" and was so sad to hear that they were part of the fire evacuation. Such a stressful situation. So happy that they were able to put together a birthday celebration for one of their little ones who celebrated her 7th birthday on Saturday. Mom told me she really wanted a K-Pop themed cake. Both tiers were confetti cake with strawberry filling (the birthday girls favorite flavor). Hoping this cake brought some smiles and happiness to this whole family. 🥳

Made this totally customized cake for a very nice couple who were both celebrating milestone birthdays. The husband is turning 75 and his wife is turning 70! A good friend of the couple ordered the cake and told me that they both love to golf and travel. He is a lawyer and has a brown bulldog and she was a teacher, and now has become an artist using paint medium. The bottom cake is a 10" chocolate cake with a chocolate filling and the top tier is a lemon cake with a lemon filling. Hoping the lovely couple had a wonderful celebration!🥳

Made this dozen "gamer" themed cupcakes for a young man who celebrated his 9th birthday. Added some controler keychains on the fondant cupcake toppers for a little take home for the kids. These are chocolate cupcakes with a candy surprise. Hope the birthday boy has a super fun celebration! 🥳

Made this "Disney" themed birthday cake for a young lady who celebrated her 70th birthday. Her friend told me that she loves going to Disneyland and will be going this summer to celebrate her 70th there. She also told me that she likes golf, basketball, hockey, and wanted a reference to "mechanical" work. This is a cherry chip cake with a cherry filling. Made this dozen cupcakes for a birthday celebration today. I was contacted by the birthday gal's co-worker who told me her favorite color is green and she really likes Monstera plants. I was also told to pick the flavors, so 4 are chocolate with caramel/salted caramel crisp filling, 4 are cherry chip with a chocolate/cherry and chocolate crisp filling and 4 are vanilla with a raspberry/white chocolate crisp filling. Hope the birthday girl has a wonderful celebration today!🥳

Made this "Corgi" themed birthday cake for a little lady who is celebrating her 6th birthday. A little bit of short notice for this cake, so we went with a bobble head corgi on top and 3 little 3D printed corgi's to help decorate this cake. All completed with fondant flowers, corgi name plate, heart on top of cake and added some chocolat bones and candy hearts. :) The bottom tier is a chocolate cake with a chocolate filling and top tier is a vanilla cake with cookies & cream filling. Hope the birthday girl has a wonderful celebration and enjoys her Corgis. 🥳

Hello friends! After taking a short break, I will back to baking orders for this upcoming weekend, but wanted to share a super easy and delicious recipe from my Mom's cookbook. It is called Pistachio Cheesecake. She used to make this quite often and it was always a favorite. It is nice and light for a summer day. First you start with the crust which consists of 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup of butter, 2 tablespoons of sugar and a 1/4 cup of chopped pecans. Mix well and press into a 9 X 13" pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Let completely cool. For the filling, take an 8 oz block (not container) of cream cheese and mix it with 1/2 large container of cool whip, 2/3 cup of icing sugar and mix well. On the side, take 2 packages of pistachio pudding and mix those with 2 cups of milk. Mix well. Add the pudding mix to the cream cheese filling mix. Blend well. Spread the filling mix over the completely cooled crust. Top with the other 1/2 container of cool whip and top with toasted pecans. Get ready to enjoy! :) This needs to be kept refrigerated. Made this pretty baby shower cake for a celebration this weekend. The bottom tier is a chocolate cake with a cherry filling and the top cake is a vanilla cake with a cookies & cream filling. Complete with a fondant teddy bear and lots of fondant stars. Big Congrats! 👼
