Our winter break is coming to an end, and I can’t help but feel so overwhelmed with gratitude.

For our wonderful customers, without you, we would be nothing. Because you keep coming through our doors, it allows us to keep baking, and that truly is the best gift.

For our staff, who keep everything running behind the scenes, we absolutely couldn’t do this without you.

And finally, last but most definitely not least, our families. They see it all: the massive ups and downs, the highs and the lows. They are always there to support us, and without that support, I’m not sure we’d be able to do any of this.

With everyone’s support combined, the feeling of gratitude is incredibly high. So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting our small business and for loving what we do.

We knew owning a bakery would be a massive job when we decided to buy it, and a massive job it has been, but it has also been incredibly rewarding, especially knowing we are making the best product we possibly can for you.

We hope we can keep doing this for you for years to come.

🥧 TWO MORE DAYS FOR PREORDERS! 🥧

Preorders close Wednesday the 8th @ 4 PM, so be sure to get yours in for this week and weekend before then! After that, we will still have tons of baking but everything in-store will be first come, first served.

It’s just Ben & I in the bakery kitchen, baking hundreds of items a day during this busy season. We truly do our best, but yes, we sell out!

If you stop by and we’re sold out, please know how much we appreciate your understanding. Nothing makes us sadder than sending someone home empty-handed, which is why preordering helps so much, it lets us plan and bake enough for everyone.

Every pumpkin treat at The Hot Bread Shoppe begins the same way: in a pumpkin patch. We handpick each pumpkin, wash, roast, and purée it, before it ever makes its way into our pies, cinnamon buns, or loaves which are also all made from scratch, by hand.

It’s not just a pumpkin pie you’re buying—it’s hours of hard work, care, and a whole lot of love. 💛
