It’s Saturday, it’s a beaut of a day today and the stand is stocked! I even got to making a couple 2 packs of cinnamon rolls

Night 19

Roast lamb shoulder with roasted potatoes and carrots. Mint sauce and sour cream on the side if they want it and fruit crisp with ice cream for dessert!

Night 18…. But a little late posting 🫣

Not sure what to call this dish but it’s a slow cooker chicken something something haha
Seasoned chicken with chicken broth and a jar of sundried tomatoes. A half hour before serving add 2 cups of orzo and a block of Boursin cheese and right before serving mix in spinach.
It got grossly overcooked since we were late getting home from hockey … which is also why dessert is 7 layer bar and a strawberry streusel both from coop - you gotta do what you gotta do!!

Looking ahead at the weather I’m going to try and stay open until Oct 31st - if it gets too cold before then I’ll make an announcement on my last day, otherwise October 31st will be our last day open until next season!

It’s just dawned on me now that it is Thanksgiving day tomorrow (Monday, Oct 12th) so the stand will be closed tomorrow and will resume regular hours Tuesday, October 13th!

It’s a blustery Saturday but the stand is cozy and stocked up!

Ya’ll SHOWED UP yesterday and sold me out of almost everything so I baked like a mad woman yesterday afternoon and night to restock what I could for today…. And I probably made the best cinnamon rolls I have ever made, so there is that haha
