Sweet Pop MTL is now La Pop’ Gourmande 💗
This business has grown alongside me, and this new name feels like the next natural step — one that pays homage to where it all began, while reflecting my French roots, the beautiful language we speak here in Québec, and the joy of creating delicious desserts for your special moments.
While the name has changed, everything else remains the same: the same owner, the same care, and the same sweet treats made with love.
This business found me during one of the most transformative moments of my life — becoming a mother to two incredible girls. While my world had changed in the most beautiful way, I found myself missing the girl I once was. I had stepped away from work to care for my family, and I slowly realized how much I needed something that was just for me — a creative outlet, a passion, a reminder of who I was beyond motherhood.
Then TikTok introduced me to a world of people creating and selling cake pops, and something sparked. I remember thinking,
I could do that! With my love for baking and creating — and many late nights spent learning, testing, and perfecting — Sweet Pop MTL was born.
What started as a simple idea has grown into such an incredible journey over the past three years. Thanks to the support and encouragement of so many loyal customers, I continued to grow, create, and expand into cupcakes and cakes — shaping what La Pop’ Gourmande is today.
