A huge congratulations to the winner of the 2024 World Aeropress Championships

We are truly honoured when we see someone put trust in our filters to use in a competition, whether it's a Regional or the WAC, and are so happy to see people win using them.

Full recognition goes to the brewers, who tirelessly work on their recipe, finding the perfect combination of water, grind, filter and technique to bring out the best quality in a coffee.

We believe that the filter is an important part of that, and can give a competitive advantage, especially when you are competing against the best in the world.

But you know what, they can also just help you brew a really great cup at home.

Over the past six years, we have now seen our filters used by the winner or the runner up every single year that a competition was held and our filters were allowed to be used*

* There was no WAC in 2020 due to the pandemic and in 2021 competitors were only allowed to use products from the official sponsors, and so only the standard paper filters were allowed.

One of the greatest things about the Aeropress is its portability. There are very few places on the planet you can't brew an amazing cup of coffee with this brewer.

We did a great camp brew on the ocean with using our filters and a . Both the photos and the coffee turned out beautiful.

We haven't been posting a lot in the last while, as our founder Eldric has been launching his new project , but for other reasons as well.

The world is facing massive disruption with the pandemic, the protests against racial based police brutality in the US, and also many other issues like the fentanyl crisis and pipeline protests here in Canada.

It didn't feel like the time to be posting about our product.

It was important that we respected the significance of the movement, while also using what little influence we may have as best we could through Harken's account, which we were more active on for the past while.

Coffee is ultimately about community and bringing people together, and we hope that we can also use this platform to bring awareness to important issues we care about, while sharing our love for coffee with you all.

Our other project Harken Coffee Roasting Co is launching its first offering of beans starting tomorrow at noon.

The official open date is June 1st, but for now you can buy beans online and have them shipped or pick them up in store.

This has been a nearly two year long effort to open my first roastery, and I am super excited to share some wonderful coffee with you.
