Welcome to Pàtisserie Cara where you can buy many of the great pastry goods you've come to love! Bon Appétit!

As the name implies, Chef Cara is an upcoming local pastry chef in Vancouver. She has graduated from Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in 2007, and has been working full-time at local pastry shops for the past 6 years. Chef Cara specialized in custom cakes, including cupcakes, petite fours, birthdays, and special events. She is constantly trying new recipes in her spare time and with her enthusia

sm and passion for French pastries, she has developed unique techniques and desirable flavours that are highly praised by all her customers. Upon enthusiastic responses and requests from her close ones, and friends, she decided to start an online based pastry shop to better cater her customers' sweet tooth at a much more personal level.

🍭🍭we made this LOL buttercream cake for one of our first time customer Hailey’s 6th birthday! She specifically asked for the exact doll and the colour pink for her cake! Also the cake was a rainbow layered cake! We also made the cake extra tall as we think it looks wayyyy better with a slightly taller height! Happy birthday Hailey!

🌸🌸this tiara buttercream cake we made was for a clients moms birthday! She wanted something elegant and over the top for her mom so we created this! We also included some fresh tulips as they were in season! Happy birthday to the beautiful mom!

🏈🏈this Packers fondant birthday cake was made for a super fan of Jaire Alexander! We made the jersey out of fondant as well as the football itself! It was super fun to create this cake!!

🕷️🕷️we made this Spidey and his amazing friends cake for one of our returning customer Caleb’s 5th birthday! We made tons of fondant decors as well as some colourful chocolate dipped balls! Oh and we also made some confetti out of fondant and chocolate!! This cake turned out super colourful and fun and we loved it!!!

🍬🍬we made this Sanrio buttercream cake for one of our long time customers! We personally made all of the characters (a total of 6🫠🫠) that the birthday girl requested! We also made tons and TONS of colourful fondant flowers to make this cake extra cute!

🪻🪻this Encanto themed fresh cream cake we made for one of our first time customer! She wanted something to celebrate her daughters 7th birthday. We literally made a full on flower cake! We can’t even remember how many roses we put on this cake!🤣. We also added some gold butterflies as well! Hopefully the birthday girl enjoyed the cake!

👑👑this purple fresh cream cake we made for our long time customer was actually for her mom! She wanted something elegant and sophisticated for her mom this year. She also asked us to incorporate gold touches on the cake as well! We ended up using a lot of edible gold leaves to create this lavish look!

🥰🥰this Sumikko Gurashi themed fresh cream cake we actually made last year for one of our regulars! It had layers of sponge cakes with vanilla pudding and fresh taro fillings (with fresh cream)! We also made the birthday girl’s favourite characters in the series! Happy birthday to our lovely Evelyn (even though we were awfully late posting this🫣)

🥂🥂this whiskey themed fresh cream birthday cake that we made was for a first time customer! She wanted to surprise her friend with something he will like which is whiskey🥃😏😏. We also added in some hazelnut chocolates and golden spheres to glam up this cake!

🛞🛞this race car themed cake we made was for our first time@customer Jasper’s 15th birthday! This was actually a fresh cream cake! We made the custom race car figurine by ourselves! We also made some black, red and white chocolate spheres to deck up the side of the cake! Happy birthday Jasper!
