closing for now… not sure where to begin with this one… after four and a half incredible and trying years I have decided to close this chapter of my life. as of November, the gooods will no longer be accepting orders. this decision was not made lightly and it is one I have wavered on for many months.
I have given so much of myself to this business. when I started selling cakes I could never have imagined the opportunities I would have, the lessons I would learn, the friends I would make. It has been one of the most beautiful, rewarding experiences of my life. but, for the time being, it’s come to a natural end. my priorities have shifted, my home has changed, my career is evolving. I love baking, I love the art and the challenge, the trials, the failures and the successes. I want the process to spark the joy and excitement it once did. At the moment, I simply don’t have the time or the energy.
most importantly in writing this, I want to thank all of you. this account was built from so little back in 2021. The friends who have become clients and the clients who have become friends. You all are the reason I have kept baking, the reason I have always said yes to a project and the reason I have achieved so much l. Thank you also to all the people in my personal life who have encouraged me endlessly, ate cake, washed dishes, held me up when it was all too much. you know who you are. im so very excited to give my kitchen a break. who knows, maybe I’ll change my mind ;)
