This one was extra special to make. My little boy turned THREE! ❤️🚜🎂

If there's one song that has been playing on repeat in our house, it's Old MacDonald Had a Farm. He knows so many versions that I've honestly lost count! 😂🎶

For his birthday, I wanted to do more than make a farm-themed cake. I wanted to create my own interpretation of his favorite song, with a whole little farm built across three tiers.

As a cake designer, these are the projects I enjoy most. I love having the creative freedom to come up with something unique, rather than following an existing cake design. Starting from scratch, planning the details and watching the idea come together is such a rewarding part of what I do.

And this time, I got to do it for my own son. 🥹

The barn on top was carrot cake, the middle tier was chocolate, and the bottom was red velvet.

We had a wonderful party, and I loved seeing everything come together.

Happy 3rd birthday to my sweet boy! ❤️

Some cakes need an explanation. This one DEFINITELY has a story behind it. 😂🔥🎂

A 15th anniversary cake complete with a wedding cake on fire, tiny figures, columns, a little chaos... and what I can only assume are some very good inside jokes.

I may not know the full story, but I had a lot of fun turning it into cake.

A bouquet you can eat 🌹🎂

Layers of buttercream roses in shades of pink and burgundy, finished with delicate touches of gold leaf. I love how this one turned into a whole arrangement of flowers - just in cake form.
