✨ Note to Self (and Maybe to You Too 💕)

Lately I’ve been feeling this deeply:
When you’re prepared, opportunities will naturally show up in front of you.
But even if you don’t feel 100% ready, taking action and making adjustments along the way is exactly when growth happens the fastest.
Of course, there are times when we feel stuck, hit a wall, or let procrastination sneak in. But I’ve learned that as long as you keep going — even if it’s just a tiny step each day — it’s still so much better than giving up altogether. My hojicha berry cherry cake was born out of that very belief 😆🍒🍵.
So don’t worry too much — just start. 🌱
In the end, it’s the ones who keep going that truly succeed. Even if someone else’s skills seem far ahead, if they don’t keep showing up and putting in the work, your persistence will give you the greater chance to win.
Just some thoughts I’ve had lately — not only about the baking business, but also about life itself. 🍰✨

Recently I made two mini cakes to share with you all 💛

🍒 Hojicha Berry Cherry
Hojicha and cherry are such a great match!
The jelly is made with our homemade berry cherry jam—kind of like a twist on the classic Black Forest cake, but with a new vibe.

🍵 Rich Matcha Cream
This one is all about simplicity: fluffy matcha chiffon paired with rich matcha cream.
Someone once told me they just wanted a cake that’s simply cream + sponge—nothing else inside. I think there are many people who enjoy this kind of pure and classic combination too.

Spent the weekend at a small, beautifully tucked-away lavender farm with my family 💜🌿
There’s just something so calming about standing in the middle of a lavender field — I had to share a little moment of peace with you ✨

I also brought home some culinary-grade organic lavender buds and can’t wait to try making a Lavender London Fog 🫖
Just a hint of floral aroma — elegant, comforting, and so dreamy.
