One and a 1/2 Acres Gardener, baker and candle maker! A zone 3 garden, beehives and a sourdough starter named Fernandough.

We have wonderful homemade sourdough baking, jams and other treats to offer along with our gardening workshops and amazing local wildflower honey.

Another great weekend in the books, spent time in the garden weeding and harvesting half of our 300 garlic cloves for curing and got a chance to trial sourdough bagels! They are out for taste testing but the results are sounding good and they will be available soon. 🥯

What a fabulous weekend! Got to do some of my favourite things: teaching first aid to a marvelous group of people, hanging in the garden and the kitchen.

The last of the garlic scapes were harvested and dried, made into garlic scape salt (available in the bakery) and an amazing pesto.

Lavender is coming in great and will be dried and used to flavour our lavender vanilla honey..mmmm.
