A LITTLE NUMBER WITH A BIG STORY! 🍞

You may have noticed that our sourdough looks a little different lately, keep an eye out for the #158 on some of our loaves!

We’re proud to share that #158 is the number of our levain at the Puratos Sourdough Institute in Belgium 🇧🇪❤️

And that little number represents something special. Our sourdough loaves take over 40 hours to make, using the same levain throughout every COBS Bread bakery.

That means the sourdough you enjoy here at COBS Bread Truro is part of a much bigger sourdough story, carefully fermented, baked fresh, and made with the same levain that connects COBS bakeries across the country. 🥖

So next time you spot #158, you’ll know there’s a lot more behind that number than meets the eye!

💙 A beautiful way to say goodbye!

Before heading off to university, one of our wonderful associates took the time to write a personal card to each of her fellow associates, sharing memories and kind words about her time with our bakery.
