So Dolly received a wardrobe change ( in a more modest Southern Belle kinda way) and a slight breast augmentation since my most recent social media posting of her.

But look at the beautiful and smiling recipient, Robin! 🥰
As I always say~ cake makes everyone happy!!!!
We turned the cake into a farewell surprise for a colleague of Robin’s; and I love her chosen greeting for the bittersweet send off! 🙌🏻

Full transparency from a cake designer.
And sometimes…. There are elements and errors beyond your control.
For me, thank fully they’re rare. But they do happen. Workplace error regardless of your profession is inevitable. For me I deal with things like temp, humidity levels, symmetry, weight distribution and appearance as issues I have to insure are relatively perfect with cakes, because in my biz…. Your eyes eat first.

Well good golly Dolly;
I’d say you would have been as tickled pink with your bosom and collar bone that I replicated, because they are just~ ‘Shining like a diamond in a goat’s ass.’ (True Southern expression, don’t fault me! 😂)
But the humidity created fissures in my work on this free standing cake, and as a perfectionist, even in this giveaway; I’m the type of person you can rely on professionally is not going to try to pass off something substandard. I will always meet my deadlines with my work and your requests, just cuz that’s me!!!!

So poor Robin is having to wait on her sweet winnings unfortunately; and now I may even end up going in a different direction artistically.

But…. That rack though! 😍😂🙌🏻🍑🍑
