To all who follow me…

A weekend of deep thought camping, I have decided to shut down Bread Box.
When a business you love isn’t thriving as you hoped, it’s hard to keep it going. When the joy is lost, I know it’s not working anymore.

I honestly feel homemade bread isn’t appreciated as much as it should be.

But it’s OK! I don’t blame anyone. This is just reality and I can at yeast say, I tried.

I will continue to make bread for my family. And message me if you’d like to place an order from my offered list.

I appreciate all the support I’ve received over the last 3years and the friends I’ve made.

I will do a day at Xmas Market in December with Erin, One of a Kind Cakes. And who knows what Bread Box futures hold… ✌🏻

Hey everyone!

I’m closing down weekly bake orders and custom bake orders.

BUT I know I have existing customers who love to order when they can so….

If you wish to order, please msg me for a list! Depending on availability, my bake days will for now remain on Tuesday/Friday but I will try to accommodate for outside of Trail orders.

Local customers, there’s no minimum order, pickup only.
Outside of Trail, $30 minimum for meeting up or delivery, both within reason.

Well, after 25+ years of baking…. I have finally accepted 🙌🏻 that not every loaf, every english muffin, every bagel, every baking item I make for Bread Box or home will look all the same or perfect (to me)!
The rising process and the baking process have their own plans and I have zero control over it.
But I will say, they’ll definitely taste the same, delicious! 😋
My grandma was a baking perfectionist, so that has probably rubbed off on me… but life is too short to worry.
I know every item I bake is made with love! 💗
And they are each perfectly imperfect! 😉

Look 👀 what’s NEW coming to markets… starting this Saturday, June 1st!!

We got Handmade Bread Bags! What’s better than keeping your loaf of bread looking beautiful while sitting on the counter or in the fridge? 🤩 All you gotta do is place the bread you purchased at Bread Box right into the bread bag with the plastic bag it came with.

Also, who doesn’t love Homemade Peanut 🥜 Butter 🧈 on their toast? We got 2 kinds… 1. Chocolate PB & 2. PB in 6oz jars! Little ingredients, no additives. Limited on quantity but if these beauties sell, I’ll bring more next time! And maybe something else 😉

Sweet & Savoury! My favourite combo 😋

Who doesn’t love apple and cheese together? 🍎 Perfect snack, to me!

Each loaf has 2 apples covered with cinnamon sugar and chunks of cheddar cheese 🧀

All you need to do is slightly toast it, add butter and you got yourself a perfect slice of toast! 🍞

Thank you Spring Fling for putting on an awesome market. And THANK YOU ALL for supporting me and loving my bread.
It’s hard work, I’m exhausted but it makes it all worth it when I get to see my bread go to amazing people who truly appreciate what I do! See you in Spring Fling 2025!
