Gryllies

Gryllies Future-friendly protein source made with cricket flour that is good for you, and the planet. But what about food that is also good for the planet?

When we eat, we want food that is nutritious and delicious, food that is good for us. We found both in Gryllodes sigillatus, the tropical house cricket. They are high in protein, low in fat, and contains all 9 essential amino acids. They don't take up a lot of space and they are efficient in converting feed. We created gryllies because we want to eat better, for ourselves and for the planet. Twitter:

As Earth Day 🌎🌿 comes to a close, we at Gryllies wanted to thank Mother Earth for cradling us. At Gryllies, we promise to do better and so can you! Here are
3 easy, actionable ways in which you can help Mother Earth.

1. 🌽🍎 Buy local, or better yet, grow your own food, so energy is not wasted on transportation. Our friends at Modgarden (https://modgarden.com/blogs/tiny-farm/origin-storycan) grow you $400 worth of veggies in 1 month. πŸ’πŸ

2. 🍯🐝 Buy your own hive: Without bees the planet would last for only 60 years (and honey is good for your health). Check out Alveole (https://www.facebook.com/AlveoleToronto/) to get a hive in your backyard! 🍯🐝

3. Cook for friends. Large quantities of food use less packaging than the same quantity in individual portions (and take less energy to cook). Why not try cooking with Gryllies' pasta sauce that has the sustainable, earth-friendly protein source of crickets? Get yours now visit https://gryllies.com/products/first-100-package 🍝🍴
