We opened April 1, 2011 right in the heart of Toronto's financial district on the corner of King & Victoria. Since then we have been able to put a smile on thousands of faces with our cupcakes. The team at Prairie Girl is proud to offer incredible cupcakes and cakes! Made fresh on-site every single day we use top of the line fresh ingredients without preservatives, from fresh dairy butter, 70% Dar

k Belgian Chocolate, to real strawberries. Although over the years we have dabbled with other baked goods as well, by focusing on cupcakes and cakes exclusively it has allowed us to perfect our recipes and offer products that are nut-free, and even some Gluten-Free/Vegan options as well! Since the opening of our first location we have been able to expand across the GTA, opening 4 more locations over the years: First Canadian Place (orig. 2011), Yorkville (orig. 2013), Woodbine (orig. 2019), and Brookfield Place (orig. 2019). Unfortunately due to the hardships that have come with Covid-19 we have had to scale back location-wise to just our flagship store at Victoria Street, but that doesn’t mean we have had to scale back on our commitment to providing high quality product to our customers! Right now we are offering advance order services to keep our customers as well as our staff as safe as possible as we navigate our new reality. Anyone can place an advance order either on our website below, or via phone for pick-up at the bakery, or even for delivery* within the immediate Toronto area! (*Exclusions apply)

We would like to announce the Grand Opening of Jean's new bakery Sticky! Starting Friday, May 27 they will be open Tues - Sat from 10am - 4pm.

Thank you so much to everyone for your support and understanding in general during these trying times, but especially over the last couple of weeks. We are so happy to be back and able to offer curbside pick-up and delivery (within the immediate Toronto area to select postal codes) on any orders placed in advance. Including, our new Treats this week!

Our NEW Caramel Hot Chocolate Treat of the Week is perfect to keep you cozy during this festive season. Sweet and decadent, we fill our Chocolate Cake with Dulce de Leche, top it with our Milk Chocolate and Vanilla Icings, and garnish with edible metallic gold chocolate shavings for some extra holiday pizazz! ☕️

Another Treat to keep you warm this winter, our Cinnamon Treat of the Week is sweet and spicy. Usually reserved for the week of Valentine's Day, we brought this customer favourite back for the holidays this year. We top our Vanilla Cake with our Cinnamon Cream Cheese Icing for a flavour that will give you all those warm fuzzies. ❄️❤️

Sweeten 🧁 up those Sunday blues by placing your order for one of our featured treats for next week!

This week's other featured flavour, our Black Forest, combines our Chocolate Cake with Cherry and Vanilla Icings (made with real cherries, mind you), and topped with chocolate shavings as an ode to the famous cake flavour it is named after.

Ever wish you had a cupcake to go with your morning coffee? What about if you could have a cupcake with coffee IN IT instead? ☕
Our Tiramisu Treat of the Week is back, with it's Marsala wine espresso simple syrup infused Vanilla Cake and Coffee Icing. Perfect for any time of the day you need a little pick-me-up!

Continuing this week throughout all of November, for our Movember Treat we take our Chocolate Cake and top it with both our Chocolate and Vanilla Icings. The finishing touch is of course, a moustache sugar topper, as a portion of the proceeds from each cupcake sold will be donated at the end of the month to The Movember Foundation (which raises awareness around various men's health issues). 👨🏽👨🏾👨🏻

We're so excited to introduce the third of our three featured Holiday Designer Cakes this season, the 'Holiday Black Tie'.

Elegant and festive, this Red Velvet Cake is filled with our Chocolate and Vanilla Icings, and covered on the outside in Vanilla Buttercream and a dark chocolate ganache drip. Decorated in bronze & gold chocolate features and candy, this cake is a perfect centrepiece for any socially distanced event! 🌟 🎊
