I’m a little late to the party, but not too late to join in on the celebration!
Happy Year of the Rabbit! 🐰🎊

As always, this started off with an idea that was sketched out, and then brought to life in Procreate.

I couldn’t decide on a background colour, and then I came across a Pattern making tutorial by and I decided to make a pattern!
I played around with it all day! It’s so much fun!
You can’t really see the detail of the pattern in the first image, but it took some time to get the images in the pattern just right.

Hmmm what to make next?!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything.

Last month I treated myself to an early birthday present (also due to a good tax return!), and bought an iPad Pro 😀
I’ve been playing around with it and getting use to using Procreate for the past few weeks, and this is what I worked on today ☺️
Cuddles and Bear are ready for the beach 🏖😎

I love my iPad and the Apple Pencil!
Normally, I sketch everything out in my sketchbook, scan it and then transfer it to the computer; but now with my iPad I can just sketch my ideas out and skip the step of scanning anything.

Hiiii! It feels like it’s been forever since Cuddles and Bear have made an appearance! But they’re back! ☺️

I put my illustrations on hold for the holidays, to focus more on my shop, and creating felted ornaments, and then I got super busy when I started working 2 part time jobs (to help pay the bills)!

I had some time to do some sketching this morning, and it felt like an appropriate day for Cuddles and Bear to make their reappearance, because today is the anniversary of when I completed Chemotherapy and I got to ring the Chemo Bell! 🛎🛎🛎☺️
(Can’t believe it’s already been 2 years!)

This sketch made me smile 😊
My hair has grown back, and I can now tie it up, so I gave Cuddles little pigtail buns ☺️
