Peanut butter cookies are nice.

Hi! While posting pictures of myself is completely out of character, especially ones where I'm not being weird and awkward (I'm very awkward and will be the first person to fall off a chair to make someone else feel less awkward), I decided to do it today because I'm feeling so, so great.

I've had some difficulties in the past few months, but as soon as I felt a teensy bit better, I raaaaaan with it. I did a bunch of hot stinky awesome yoga , continued to feel better, ran with it some more and did more hot stinky awesome yoga, read a self-help book called Breaking Free ( , this is my thing from the Daring List, btw, and I'm extremely uncomfortable lol) and my will to be good and healthy came back.

Being a baker and having a small business of one has turned my life and my family's life upside down, but in a good way (mostly!)! I've been very lucky; I've had amazing support from the small business community , my very loyal customers who have lovingly become addicted to my browned-butter chocolate chunk cookies, and my super awesome friends and family.

I'm going to be changing things up a bit this year, so stay tuned! I'm REALLY excited. Thank you for supporting me and my small business, and thank you for supporting small businesses in general. And if you read this entire katie-blurb, then you are amazing, and i appreciate you giving me your time.

Also, Happy birthday to me!!!!!
