I would never have imagined that I'd be making cakes like the ones I do today! It all started when I gave birth to my youngest son. For every month he got older, I would bake him a cake. Since then, I took every opportunity to bake until I realized that it had become my passion. As the saying goes, hard work finds passion, and not the other way around. I have never taken classes or had anyone teac

h me proper decorating techniques. I had to learn everything from scratch. Name a mistake; I've probably made it! "Just believe in yourself; you can do it!" my friends would say to me. They encouraged me to take orders from friends and family. They gave me an outlet to let my creativity flow. Now, I would consider baking and decorating cakes as my biggest hobby! Making cakes keeps me in anticipation of what I might do next; the excitement will never get old for me. I never get tired of making sugar flowers or decorating cakes for hours or days. :)
