Rainy days call for something sweet 🍓✨

By popular request, our cinnamon buns are now available individually packaged at The Commonplace!

Choose from our Classic Cinnamon Buns or the seasonal favourite Strawberry Rhubarb Buns, made with fresh rhubarb from Lazy J Ranch.

We’ve had so many requests for individual cinnamon buns, and we’re absolutely loving how these turned out. Perfect for a quick treat or taking a little sweetness on the go.

The secret is finally out... 🍯✨

Supporting local has always been at the heart of what we do, and whenever we can, we choose fresh, locally sourced ingredients for our baking. That’s why we’re so excited to share that you can now find a selection of our baked goods at ! 🐝

We’ve been using their incredible products in our recipes from the very beginning, so this partnership feels extra special.

Currently available:
-Classic Cornbread
-Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread
(Topped with honey butter featuring their delicious honey)

-Strawberry Rhubarb Bars
(made with rhubarb grown right on their farm!)

-A selection of our freshly baked cookies

We’re starting with a few customer favourites and would love to hear what else you’d like to see stocked in their beautiful shop.

June 1st is tomorrow, and we're kicking off the month with a lineup we're pretty excited about. 🍓✨

Back by popular demand, our Strawberry Rhubarb Cinnamon Bun returns for another season — made with fresh local rhubarb from Lazy J Ranch and filled with all the sweet-tart goodness you remember from last year.

We'll also have plenty of classic cinnamon buns, dessert bars, scones (Triple Chocolate, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Strawberry Rhubarb), and of course, cookies.

Find us at the Monday Market in Victoria Park from 9 AM–2 PM (or until sold out). We can't wait to see you there! 🤍

Back home from deliveries to the BEST surprise waiting at the door ✨

Our brand new KitchenAid arrived just in time for market season and we are SO excited to put it to work in the Griffin kitchen!

This little milestone is all thanks to you. Your support at markets, every order, and all the love you show our small business allows us to keep creating and doing what we love every single day.

We’ll be back at the Monday Market in Victoria Park every Monday from 9AM–2PM and we can’t wait for another season with you all! Full menu drops tomorrow 👀
