Today, we locked the doors at 132 Broadway Street for the very last time. 🤍
It’s hard to put into words what we’re feeling right now. Today is incredibly bittersweet. We are so excited for the journey ahead, but as we turned the lights off and locked that door one final time, we couldn’t help but be flooded with emotions and memories.
There were so many firsts within these walls. So many early mornings, late nights, celebrations, challenges, laughs and tears. So many cakes created, cookies decorated and treats baked. So many birthdays, showers, weddings, high teas and special events celebrated here.
But more than anything, there were you.
Over the years, so many of you walked through our doors as customers and somehow became so much more. We watched your families grow. We made cakes for birthdays year after year. We celebrated milestones alongside you. We learned your favourite treats and looked forward to seeing familiar faces walk through the door.
You became such a big part of our lives and of the story of Special Occasion Cakes.
For 10 incredible years, you have supported us, encouraged us, recommended us to your friends and families, trusted us with some of the most important moments in your lives, and watched us grow into the business we are today.
We truly could not have done any of this without you.
Closing the storefront doesn't mean the end of Special Occasion Cakes — it simply means the beginning of a new chapter. One that we're incredibly excited for. But we would be lying if we said saying goodbye to this chapter wasn't difficult.
132 Broadway Street will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. 🤍
