HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

As Community Cupcake returns, I am very proud to announce that we we have raised $154 for Movember to mark the first fundraiser of the summer.

Why did I choose Movember?

Mental health continues to be largely stigmatized, particularly in older men. Many of these men are our fathers and grandfathers. If the struggles of the past couple years have taught us anything, it's just how important it is to take care of our mental health.

In recognition of this and in celebration of the fathers around us, I am proud to be donating to a cause that supports mental
health and su***de prevention in men, prostate and testicular cancer and ongoing research in these fields.

Our donation will fund medical research, groundbreaking tests and trials, life-changing men’s health programs and innovative treatments.

Thanks to everyone who helped out by contributing to this cause! I hope you all have a great rest of your Father's Day and I'll be back very soon with another Community Cupcake fundraiser!

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day (March 😎. According to the UN, the purpose of the day is to uphold women's achievements, recognize challenges, and focus greater attention on women's rights.

To celebrate the women that make our lives and community a better place, I will be giving away a pack of cupcakes to 2 lucky winners (one on Facebook and one on Instagram) to share with the women that play an important role in their lives!

While I try to be as diligent as possible and avoid having any gluten ingredients out and do all my gluten free baking before starting to bake with regular ingredients, there may still be a slight chance of some cross contamination occurring.
