Bread pudding ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜‹

Ingredients

Pudding:
* 7 eggs
* 700ml milk
* 250g refined sugar
* Vanilla
* 10 slices of bread
Mix milk and sugar (dissolve the sugar) and add bread slices.
In another bowl beat the eggs and add vanilla.
Mix everything in one bowl.
Caramel
* 10 tablespoons sugar
* 9 tablespoons water
Get ready your caramel before the other ingredients by adding the sugar and water in a little pot in a medium heat. Dissolve and wait until is the sugar turn to brown and caramelized. Pour in your mold of your preference and with the back of the spoon try to cover the caramel on the mold's wall. Then add your mix pudding on.
Prepare a a big pot with water and put the already mold with pudding in the pot. Preheat oven @ 350 Fahrenheit. Once ready bake it for 1 and 1/2 hour.

Prepare your broth: 2-4cups of broth pork or chicken. In my case I cooked 1/2kg of tenderloin pork and added 2 cups of broth chicken.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and get it ready for that skillet.

Rub the pork tenderloin all over with 2 teaspoons of oil, then season all over with another teaspoon of salt, ยฝ teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.

Combine 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large, oven-safe skillet (I love cast iron, but any large, oven-safe skillet will work) over medium heat.

When the butter is melted, use tongs to transfer pork to the pan and sear for 1-2 minutes, turning as needed to get that seared on all sides.

Place pork in the oven:

Cook for 45 minutes or till the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145 degrees and the center is no longer pink.

Take it out of the oven when done, and transfer the pork to a platter, covering to keep warm.

For a different sauce(gravy):

Now place the same skillet on the stove over medium high heat. Bring the liquid to a boil, and stir the cornstarch into the remaining ยฝ cup of broth till itโ€™s dissolved.

Stir the cornstarch mixture into the boiling gravy till it thickens. Reduce heat, taste, and add more salt and pepper if desired.

Serve the gravy over the pork tenderloin and potatoes and enjoy!

TETE CON TORTILLA Y PAN ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ

A mi esposo se le antojรณ un cocidito con leche y pan. La tortillita que sobrรณ del almuerzo yo lo completรฉ. Que mรกs podรฉs pedir para una merienda asรญ mi paraguayo/a querido!

OBS: llamamos "tete" al cocido con leche. (El que lea me corrija)
Aah.. la taza mรกs grande por supuesto es de mi esposo ๐Ÿ˜…

How to make TETE!??

Ingredients

* 5 spoons of yerba paraguaya/without flavor (go to internet to know more about it)

* 3 spoons of sugar
*4 cups water

1- In a cooking pot or aluminum jug add yerba paraguaya and sugar.. cook until is burning ( cook/medium heat)
2- When you see is burning add water. Wait until is boiling.
3- Strain the liquid/cocido in spanish. Strain in a plastic jug. Serve in cups with milk ๐Ÿฅ›. Add sugar or whatever sweet you like to add.

OBS: you can also use your kettle to boil the water and then add to the jug. That way is easier and fast.

There's another way to make cocido but I can't find the other ingredient in Canada to make it more delicious. That way is the original tradition to make it.

Red sauce
4 servings

Ingredients

1 tbsp oil
alf green pepper, half red pepper
1 tomato
Half yellow onion
Chives
Tomato sauce (Italian) 4 tbsp
1/2 kg ground beef
Mozzarella cheese
Pepper, salt, garlic powder, oregano. Measure them to your liking.

Preparation

1. Cut all vegetables. In a fry pan add oil and chopped onion. Until the onions are transparent add the ground beef with all spices before mentioned. Let them cook until the ground beef is almost cook, then add the vegetables but no the chives yet.
2. Add sauce. Let it cook for 5 min. Add chopped chives. Serve with you favorite noodles and cheese on top (also optional) and ready!

OBS .. if the sauce tastes little sour put 1 to 2 pinch of sugar.
