Lily Bean Cookies & Cupcakes Just a busy mom in Swift Current, SK trying to help out other busy moms/dads/people. Hi There!! I spent many years stressing over each and every party!

Let me introduce my self a little bit...

I am a busy mom of 5 ranging in ages 9 to 24 so I have had my share of planning birthday parties and other occasions! I bought so many of the super sweet generic store bought cakes over the years that I was beginning to think my children would be on a constant sugar high! I knew things had to change so I decided to try my hand at making my own and I never

looked back. One thing I took note of was how much cake and frosting was actually wasted because people found it too sweet so when I started making my own I decided that I was going to make one that everyone could enjoy with just the right amount of sweetness!! I also found that cupcakes have a way easier cleanup and are fun for the kids to each pick out their own special one! Now that my kids are getting older I have decided that I want to help other parents and individuals going through all the stress I did trying to find that perfect dessert so I am opening my kitchen up and making cupcakes (as well as yummy cookies if preferred) to order. They will be amazingly fresh and yummy on the day you need them! I will admit right now I am not a professional baker or decorator in no way but I have had many compliments on my baking over the years and I never have leftovers so I have the confidence you will love everything as much as we do :)

I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to the Swift Current SPCA Adoptathon on Sunday to support such a wonderful cause! With your help we were able to donate $99.00 to the SPCA from the sale of our Chocolate Chip Cookies as well as give 2 new fur babies their forever homes!!! Mikey came home with me and DJ went home with my older daughter and the two boys will still grow up together since she brings her fur babies to visit often ❤️ 🐾🍪

What a beautiful morning!! I've been up since 5AM, had my coffee with my Christmas music quietly playing while my family sleeps then got busy making my cookies for my cookie boxes. I cherish this quiet time sometimes and think about Christmas baking with my mom, some of my best memories. She started my love for baking and most of my recipes are handed down from her.

The cookies today will be made with much love and many happy memories and I hope everyone enjoys their cookie boxes!
