There’s something timeless about madeleines and we will have them tomorrow at the Summerside Farmer's Market along with lemon tea cakes, rhubarb crumble bars, banana bread, lemon scones with white chocolate, caramel fudge blondies and cranberry scones. Edit: made a last minute switch to blueberry muffins. I wasn’t loving the yeasted blueberry bread.

I love baking with flowers and herbs and this shortbread cookie with calendula petals, thyme and lemon is lovely. We will also have lemon tea cakes, peanut butter blondies with white chocolate, caramel fudge blondies, cranberry scones and blueberry muffins.

Wow, that was a day. 38 with humidex is not ideal but an early start meant an early finish so tomorrow at the Summerside Farmer's Market we have chamomile and white chocolate shortbread, gâteau breton, double chocolate brownies, lemon glazed madeleines, caramel fudge blondies and cranberry scones. Looking forward to a beautiful weekend ahead and everyone’s plan should include a trip to the Summerside Farmer's Market. This week’s scone flavours are blueberry and we also have home grown red currant and chocolate scones.
