I made my very first apple pie over thanksgiving weekend..just for the family.

Crazy right? I’ve been baking professionally for over 6 years and I just made my first apple pie 😁

Buttery, flaky sugar coated crust with the lattice and everything. Inside is thinly sliced hand picked local honey crisp apples coated in a cinnamon sugar syrup with just the slightest bit of crunch left in them after baking for some texture and mouth feel!

As someone that typically doesn’t like baked fruit pies this was actually very good!

What’s your favorite kind of pie? 🥧

Happy 17th Birthday to Brooklyn who’s parents ordered her these Bojack Horseman cookies along with a matching cake that I’ll post later!

If you haven’t watched this show it’s honestly a very good watch. It digs deep into the reality of life while keeping a simple comedy to it to lighten it up.

One quote from the show that resonates with me a lot of the time in this one (pardon the cuss word)

“Well, life's a bitch and then you die, right?"

"Sometimes, life's a bitch and then you keep living"

-Diane and Bojack

Anyways these were a labour of love and I am thrilled with how they turned out!

Thank you for the awesome order!

This cake immediately goes into my top 3 all time favourite cakes!

When a friend reached out asking if I’d be willing to make her a ouija board cake I said absolutely yes! No hesitation!

This cake turned out better than I’d imagined and I’m so grateful to have received such a unique order! 👻
