Schatzeli Schatzeli Baking in Summerland, B.C. specializing in cakes, cupcakes, and other heavenly desserts!

Recently having moved from Alberta, I am a self-taught baker who loves to make people happy through their taste buds! I have been baking wedding cakes, birthday cakes, cupcakes, pastries, specialty breads, and other delights for family and friends for over 10 years. Schatzeli means “Little Treasure” in Swiss and is what I often heard my father call my mother as she made meals and mastered his moth

er’s traditional Swiss dessert recipes. From a young age I loved to be in the kitchen with my mother, watching everything she did and helping to the best of my abilities. At 10 years old I made my first cake and fell in love with the whole process of baking. Since then, I have devoted any free time I have had to experimenting with flavors and learning to use techniques that not only look beautiful but are mouthwateringly delicious. Schatzeli is a way for me to continue bringing joy to others through baking, honoring the memories of the women who did so for me and the generations before me!
