A big congratulations to our Parkland Twins on a hard-fought 3–2 win and another trip to the NCABL Championship Series!

They’ll once again take on the Westlock Red Lions, with the series coming to Henry Singer Ball Park this Saturday afternoon.

If you’re looking for something to do Saturday, come on out, grab a seat and help us give the Twins a great hometown crowd advantage!

Maverick’s Donut Company in Stony Plain is growing, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable team members who enjoy working with people—and, of course, donuts! 💙

1️⃣ Part-Time Customer Service / Decorator

In this role, you will:

* Work independently and as part of a team
* Prepare beverages and decorate delicious donut products
* Operate the POS system and provide exceptional customer service
* Help keep the shop clean, organized, and welcoming
* Be available to work weekends and some afternoons

2️⃣ Seasonal Farmers Market Staff — Casual

In this role, you will:

* Represent Maverick’s Donut Company at local farmers markets
* Set up and take down tents, tables, and product displays
* Transport products to and from events
* Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices
* Provide friendly, positive, and outgoing customer service
* Be available to work Wednesday through Sunday
* Hold a valid driver’s licence
* Be able to lift approximately 40–50 lbs

Someone noticed we don’t wear gloves.

So this came up. No gloves. And yeah, that’s on purpose. These hands are washed more times before noon than most people wash all day, well, that’s not a competition we’re trying to win, but we’d win it.

Turns out the best donuts still get made the old way. By hand, every morning, no shortcuts.

We don’t have a giant sign.
Doesn’t mean we’re hard to find.

So here’s the thing. We don’t get a ton of walk-ins, and we think it’s because we don’t have some massive sign out front where everyone’s looking. Our bad.

So let us just point you there. We’re tucked right between the Shoppers Drug Mart and the Safeway, even closer to the Edo. Little shop, big donuts.
