Good Saturday afternoon everyone.We have a little project on the go and need your help!We are collecting these beautiful Newfoundland ornaments to add to our display window which will be hung on a Newfoundland staple.How many are we missing?If by chance you see one we do not have ...if u grab it for us we will gladly purchase it from you, also send us pictures of the missing pieces.Just look at our Dunlop boot!.Every Newfoundland husband has a pair!

Where do the time go?39 years ago today this young woman became part of the Dannys Bake Shop staff..We are so blessed and cherish our Dorothy(Dee)..the friendly face that graces our front.Love ya girl.

It is with deep heartfelt compassion and love that we extend condolences to the Stapleton family on the passing of Mrs.Janet(Gran)Stapleton.Gran is the mother of our long serving employee Kelly Stapleton.

Gran became a part of our life at Dannys 38 years ago,she fed us,she mended our clothing,she gave us recipes and never missed a call for our birthday.We will have some challenging days ahead but we will bare in mind her comforting words no matter the situation.."God is good".

What a beautiful Sunday..At Dannys we don't hide comments because everyone is certainly entitled to post..Thats the point of our FB.Sometimes u get individuals such as COW BUTTER who know nothing about our business and picture reads or has been given some really bad Intel to write their own narrative on Dannys.The bakery has never been for sale Again..We said in 47 years on a Sunday we were sold out..not on everyday bragging.We said we 44 flakies were gone in 25 minutes...we didnt say we didnt make more..and looking for pictures to PROVE IT.The item we ran out of with the RNC officer was a ticket on a candy basket to support an injured child..which a staff member was on the way with more...No one goes home early and we dont force people into our establishment with short operationing hours...But we didnt see your name on a ticket for this injured child COW BUTTER or a donation..And as for our business numbers we don't even have that..so i guess YOUR FRIEND works for Revenue Canada...

Our family especially our parents have worked very hard and long hours to establish this business in our community.We spoke at a ceremony telling how our dad would sleep on flour bags to keep up with the demand and our mom would work 12 hrs a day and come home and make sure our home was clean and we had everything we needed...and some of that way still carries on today with the younger generation that runs Dannys.We have an incredible staff that not only keeps the cases full but prepares orders for many other stores.Anyone can comment and constructive criticism is healthy..it makes u better...but please keep it to factual comments.

Just look at this gorgeous little honesty market in Cormack...they have baked goods and crafts..what a nice way to spend a day to take a drive to visit this little haven.

Could we actually be seeing the SUN today?! ☀️😂 We’ll take it!

We were a little slow redoing the candy basket in aid of Weston King...but its out now on display with soooo many different and unique types of candy.Lets all help him and his family as much as his family helps others.Weston's grandma has always been a big volunteer with many organizations,Guardian Angels being one of them.This little guy will have an extensive stay in the Janeway as he heals.Grandma has expressed to us that they need prayers from us all and have asked us to put forward an address that we can send a card to for him to read and put a smile on his face in time.The address to send a card to is...
